Agreement includes production services for PR by the Book and its client roster of authors
AUSTIN, Texas – Today, 3rd + Lamar announced an agreement to become the exclusive production partner for PR by the Book, a publicity firm specializing in traditional and online book publicity, influencer outreach, and digital relevancy.
As part of this agreement, 3rd + Lamar will provide production and post-production services for PR by the Book’s client roster. This includes filming long-form and short-form content with authors to use in their marketing and promotional materials.
“We’re really excited to spotlight authors and help them tell their stories so they can deepen the connection with their fans and reach new audiences,” 3rd + Lamar co-founder & CEO Nick Schenck said. “We’re storytellers at heart, so it’s an awesome opportunity for us to work with PR by the Book to augment all the great work they’re doing for authors.”
To launch this partnership, 3rd + Lamar recently interviewed author and keynote speaker Amy Weinland Daughters, whose second book, “Dear Dana,” won the 2023 Reader’s Favorite Gold Medal for NonFiction Relationships. Videos from this production will be released on social media during Texas Writers Month in May. View the first video below.
“Video is king in book promotion right now, as much as it hurts this old school print journalist to say,” quips Marika Flatt, Owner of PR by the Book. “We pride ourselves in working hard to innovate and stay ahead of the many book promotion curves throughout our 22+ year history. This partnership is an example of making sure our authors and publishers have access to the most effective promotion tools for their books.”
