Last year, Warner Media tapped 3rd + Lamar to capture an episode of “Taylor Rooks X,” a vodcast featuring in-depth conversations with top NBA players under the Bleacher Report brand.
In this installment, renowned sports journalist Taylor Rooks sat down with NBA star Draymond Green in San Antonio for a candid conversation just months after Green punched his then-teammate Jordan Poole.
To bring “Taylor Rooks X” to life, we used a three-camera setup with two ISO shots and one wide shot. Utilizing a live view pack system, our team was able to view all camera angles in real-time, allowing us to switch between shots based on the flow of the conversation. We recorded in 4K to maximize the quality for the YouTube audience, and our team hardlined into the Fort Worth studio to guarantee a reliable and robust connection.
